Over standard Source RCON — the same `rcon_password` your server already exposes. Add the host, port, and password in the panel and the console, player list, and ban enforcement come online. No plugin is required for that part.

RCON alone gives you the console, the live player list, and ban/kick enforcement. The optional Metabans plugin for CounterStrikeSharp adds kill tracking, chat tracking, and event streaming back to the panel. It authenticates with a server token and self-configures — grab it from the plugin registry.

Ban, unban, kick, server-wide say, change map, set next map, and restart. They are built through the game-agnostic command factory, so the same panel buttons you use on Rust or Battlefield do the right CS2 thing underneath.

Yes. Reputation lives on the cross-server player record, keyed by Steam ID, not on the game. Any history a player has built up on other Metabans-managed games is already on their profile the moment they show up on your CS2 server.

A community ban is issued by your staff and applies only to your community’s CS2 servers. A Metabans network ban is enforced when a player joins any connected Metabans community’s servers. Metabans staff issue network bans on a community’s request or after review; anti-cheat issues one automatically only for its strongest detection, and Metabans staff review every one. The network registry is a separate public list, not a copy of all community bans, and each network ban message includes its own appeal link.
