Appeal a ban

If you believe you were unfairly banned, you can submit an appeal for review.

How appeals work

  1. 1
    Find your bans

Search your in-game name or platform ID. We list every active ban on your linked identities.

  2. 2
    Appeal where it was issued

A community ban goes to that community’s own appeal page. A network-wide ban goes to Metabans through its appeal link.

  3. 3
    Get a decision

Community admins decide community bans; Metabans staff decide network bans. Each is decided separately.

What to do next

  • Appeal a network-wide ban through its own link — verify it’s your account to see it here (Steam name or Battlelog clan tag), or use the link in your in-game kick message. Metabans staff review it; until then it applies on every community for that game.
  • Appeal each community ban with that community. Their admins decide it, not Metabans.
  • An escalated ban needs both appeals: lifting the network ban does not lift the community’s ban, and the reverse is also true.
  • Explain what happened plainly and include any evidence you have. Appealing the same ban more than once does not speed it up.
